Our Corporate headquarters located in Boca Raton, Florida is looking to hire an IT Technician II. This position is not remote.

Salary Range: $45K to $55K per year

Summary:

NQM Funding is searching for a full-time IT Technician II with a passion for helping others through technology. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be reliable with an emphasis on teamwork. This role involves working closely with end-users to resolve complex technical issues, managing IT assets, and assisting with the implementation of new technologies. The IT Technician II will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of IT services and contributing to various IT projects.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• The IT Technician II will assist and respond to users within our Vivantio ticketing system and redirect users to the appropriate team if applicable.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot on site and remote laptops, desktops, and other equipment (Scanners, printers etc.).
• Work within a team of IT Technicians to assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
• Problem solving capability, able to work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
• Able to research, evaluate and recommend new hardware and software to both the team and users.
• Ability to maintain and adhere to all IT policies and procedures as set by management.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. including equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure that all devices and accounts meet our IT security policy standard.
• The documents are all information related to the completion of a ticket within the notes of our ticketing system.
• Assists in expanding internal IT documentation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Provide occasional after-hours assistance during the week and weekend in an on-call schedule rotation every 3rd week.
• Creating New Hires as well as shipping out Necessary equipment when needed.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Experience with enterprise remoting software such as LogMeIn, TeamViewer or N-Able
• Familiar with PC hardware upgrading, hard drive cloning/imaging.
• Understanding of network hardware and how to troubleshoot. Ex – Cisco switches, routers and WAP.

• Knowledge of MS Windows 7/10 /11 OS and Mac OS
• Familiar with Office 365 applications.
• Experience in Active Directory
• Understanding of MFA
• 2-4 years of experience in an IT support or technical role
• Understanding of basic networking (Switches, routers, DHCP, etc.)
• Experience encrypting devices through enterprise software.
• Customer Service Experience
